What is it all about?

Without going too much into definitions, our goal is to share what we received into our lives – the greatest gift of all – possibility to have personal relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. We would be glad to see this gift becoming yours as well and would like to see that we all in God’s grace could accept it, understand it and use.
Our community is full of imperfect people with many different life stories.
In spite of what you have already went through and what you think about God and faith in Him, you can find acceptance, love, grace and forgiveness, which is given only by Jesus. Not because of who we are, but because of who He is.

You are welcome to visit us! Let us know that you will be coming. People at the entrance hall will be glad to take care of you and show you things around.

Invitation

When visiting, you can turn to person at the entrance hall. He or she will be glad to answer your questions concerning worship services, children meetings, youth, or small groups, or might show you our facility so you do not get lost.

Where we meet

We meet regularly every Sunday at 9:30 in the Baptist Church at the Slovenskej Jednoty street, number 3205/16 in Košice. Please check the map.

Worship services

We meet, because we want the Gospel – Good News be presented in our prayers, personal stories, songs and teachings of God’s Word.
Worship services starts at 9:30 a.m. and last about 90 minutes. We start as a whole church (all age groups) and usually after announcements children are leaving main room to attend their age-related program. When the church is over, you are welcome to join our Sunday Coffee to spend some time in the pleasant atmosphere of our mutual conversations.
Every Friday there is a youth meeting at 6 p.m.
Worship services and youth meetings are simultaneously translated from Slovak into English. If you would like to use this service, please contact the sound technician sitting on the left side of the main room entrance door. He will provide you with a wireless headphones.

Kids meetings

You can attend our worship services with your young or older children. They are welcomed to join the kids meeting relevant to their age. Our voluntaries will take care of your children and through Bible stories and attractive activities relevant to their age will help them to discover God’s gift to a man.

What to wear

In our church family you can dress in any style you like. What we have in common is, that we are looking forward to meet with One, who looks for what is inside, rather that what is seen at the surface.

Sunday Coffee

On Sundays we have our Sunday Coffee open right after worship service is finished. You will find here a variety of coffee, tea, cacao and sweet cake! This is the time we can know each other better.
