Prv\u00e1 kniha Biblie uklad\u00e1 z\u00e1klady teol\u00f3gie (poznania Hospodina) a zjavuje Boha ako jedin\u00e9ho mocn\u00e9ho Stvorite\u013ea v\u0161etk\u00e9ho \u010do existuje, odha\u013euje stvorenie vesm\u00edru (8000 \u2013 4000 p.n.l.), \u010dloveka, vstup hriechu, a n\u00e1sledne Bo\u017e\u00ed pl\u00e1n z\u00e1chrany. Dej sa vo v\u0161eobecnosti odohr\u00e1va v Mezopot\u00e1mii, v zas\u013e\u00fabenej zemi (Kana\u00e1n), v Egypte na obrovskom \u010dasovom rozmedz\u00ed. Za\u010d\u00edna stvoren\u00edm sveta a \u010dloveka na Bo\u017e\u00ed obraz (imago Dei) za 6 doslovn\u00fdch 24-hodinov\u00fdch dn\u00ed (kap. 1-2). Toto stvorenie bolo dobr\u00e9, \u010dlovek preb\u00fdval s Bohom v rajskej z\u00e1hrade \u00c9den (pravdepodobne v oblasti Mezopot\u00e1mie), jeho cie\u013e bol naplni\u0165 zem, radova\u0165 sa v Bohu, spravova\u0165 stvorenstvo, a \u017ei\u0165 k Bo\u017eej sl\u00e1ve. N\u00e1sledne p\u00e1d Adama a Evy do hriechu (kap. 3) predstavil do \u017eivota \u010dloveka hriech vo\u010di sv\u00e4t\u00e9mu Bohu, smr\u0165, a nevyhnutn\u00e9 odl\u00fa\u010denie od sv\u00e4t\u00e9ho Boha. T\u00e1to prim\u00e1rne Adamova a sekund\u00e1rne Evina tragick\u00e1 vzbura vo\u010di Bohu nastavuje pozadie a nastavenie pre cel\u00e9 nasleduj\u00face \u013eudstvo, ke\u010f\u017ee prv\u00fd Adam je z\u00e1stupca cel\u00e9ho \u013eudstva. Efekt hriechu sa r\u00fdchlo \u0161\u00edri, falo\u0161ne-veriaci Kain zab\u00edja svojho \u00faprimne-veriaceho brata \u00c1bela, n\u00e1silie postupne nap\u013a\u0148a zem, a do 6. kap. \u013eudstvo svojou bezbo\u017enos\u0165ou priv\u00e1dza ve\u013ek\u00e9ho Boha k opr\u00e1vnen\u00e9mu kataklizmatick\u00e9mu s\u00fadu \u2013 celosvetovej potope. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Potopa a Bo\u017eia milos\u0165 pre Noacha<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Boh v\u0161ak preuk\u00e1zal milos\u0165 Noachovi a jeho rodine, in\u0161truuje ho postavi\u0165 ve\u013ek\u00fa dreven\u00fa lo\u010f (archu) a zachr\u00e1ni\u0165 na nej tie\u017e po p\u00e1re z ka\u017ed\u00e9ho druhu zvierat. Po potope Boh zas\u013eubuje, \u017ee u\u017e nikdy nezni\u010d\u00ed zem glob\u00e1lnou potopou, na znak \u010doho d\u00e1va \u010dloveku d\u00fahu (kap. 9). Hriech v\u0161ak pre\u017eil s\u00fad potopy v srdciach \u013eud\u00ed na arche. Ako sa \u010dlovek po potope mno\u017eil, p\u00fdchou za\u010dal stava\u0165 Babylonsk\u00fa ve\u017eu do neba, na \u010do Boh odpovedal zm\u00e4ten\u00edm jazykov a rozpt\u00fdlen\u00edm do \u0161\u00edreho sveta (kap. 11), \u010d\u00edm vznikli mnoh\u00e9 n\u00e1rodnosti, jazyky, kult\u00fary. Kapitolou 12 Boh vyvoluje jeden mal\u00fd n\u00e1rod z mnoh\u00fdch, na ktorom a skrze ktor\u00fd bude manifestova\u0165 (zjavova\u0165) svoj charakter svetu. Tento n\u00e1rod povstane z Abr\u00e1ma, ktor\u00e9ho Boh povolal z mesta \u00dar do zas\u013e\u00fabenej zeme (Kana\u00e1n), zmeniac mu meno na Abrah\u00e1m, zas\u013e\u00fabiac mu zem, n\u00e1rod, a po\u017eehnanie pre neho a skrze neho pre v\u0161etky n\u00e1rody zeme. Abrah\u00e1m uveril Bohu a Boh mu pripo\u010d\u00edtal spravodlivos\u0165 na \u00fa\u010det (Gen. 15,6). Abrah\u00e1mova\u00a0man\u017eelka S\u00e1ra bola v\u0161ak neplodn\u00e1, tak sa skrze slu\u017eobn\u00fa Hagar narodil Abrah\u00e1movi syn Izmael (z Izmaela pravdepodobne poch\u00e1dzaj\u00fa Arabi), ktor\u00fd v\u0161ak nebol synom zas\u013e\u00fabenia, t\u00fdm bol a\u017e syn S\u00e1ry, Iz\u00e1k. Iz\u00e1k mal za \u017eenu Rebeku, ktor\u00e1 napojila 10 tiav Iz\u00e1kovho sluhu, a mala dvoch synov, jemnej\u0161ieho Jakoba a drsnej\u0161ieho \u00c9zava. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jozefov pr\u00edbeh<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c9zav predal Jakobovi prvorodenstvo za ka\u0161u \u010dervenej \u0161o\u0161ovice. L\u00ednia pokra\u010duje Jakobom a jeho spojen\u00edm s Leou, prvou man\u017eelkou (R\u00faben [prvoroden\u00fd], Simeon, L\u00e9vi, J\u00fada, Izachar, Zebul\u00fan); s milovanou man\u017eelkou R\u00e1chel, za ktor\u00fa musel sl\u00fa\u017ei\u0165 mnoho rokov u L\u00e1bana (Jozef, Benjam\u00edn); s Bilhou, slu\u017eobnou R\u00e1chel (Dan, Neftali); so Zilfou, Leinou slu\u017eobnou (G\u00e1d, A\u0161\u00e9r), z ktor\u00fdch povstalo spolu 12 kme\u0148ov Izraelov\u00fdch. Medzi bratmi zohral hlavn\u00fa \u00falohu Jozef, ktor\u00fd nosieval farebn\u00fd odev, bol kv\u00f4li uprednost\u0148ovaniu od otca Jakoba nen\u00e1viden\u00fd bratmi, a eventu\u00e1lne predan\u00fd (mal okolo 17 rokov) do otroctva Egypta (kap. 37), zatia\u013e \u010do bratia otcovi povedali, \u017ee Jozefa roztrhala div\u00e1 zver. Jozef sa v Egypte dost\u00e1va do dom\u00e1cnosti prominentn\u00e9ho kapit\u00e1na str\u00e1\u017ee, Putifara, kde si z\u00edskava v\u010faka Bo\u017eej milosti, dovednostiam, a perfektn\u00e9mu charakteru \u010des\u0165, vplyv, a postavenie. Po ne\u00faspe\u0161nom pokuse Putifarovej \u017eeny zvies\u0165 Jozefa a po jej krivom obvinen\u00ed sa Jozef nespravodlivo dost\u00e1va do v\u00e4zenia k poh\u00e1rnikovi a pek\u00e1rovi, kde spr\u00e1vne vyklad\u00e1 sny, av\u0161ak je zabudnut\u00fd. Nesk\u00f4r si na neho spomen\u00fa, prived\u00fa ho k samotn\u00e9mu fara\u00f3novi vylo\u017ei\u0165 jeho sny, a Jozef sa op\u00e4\u0165 v\u010faka bezchybn\u00e9mu charakteru dost\u00e1va do vysok\u00e9ho postavenia spr\u00e1vcu Egypta, druhej najvy\u0161\u0161ej poz\u00edcie hne\u010f po fara\u00f3novi (kap. 41). Zem n\u00e1sledne zasahuje ve\u013ek\u00fd hlad, ktor\u00fd v\u0161ak Egypt, v\u010faka m\u00fadrosti Jozefa, zn\u00e1\u0161a ove\u013ea lep\u0161ie ako okolit\u00e9 n\u00e1rody, ktor\u00e9 si prich\u00e1dzaj\u00fa po z\u00e1soby do Egypta, a prich\u00e1dzaj\u00fa aj synovia Jakoba. Nesk\u00f4r sa Jozef d\u00e1va pozna\u0165 bratom, do Egypta prich\u00e1dza aj izraelsk\u00fd n\u00e1rod s Jakobom, aby pre\u017eili ve\u013ek\u00fd hlad v\u010faka Jozefovi. Kniha Genezis kon\u010d\u00ed Izraelcami v Egypte.
